River Front Center encountered a critical challenge when a hot water issue happened on a Fri. aft. due to a broken water pipe/flooded crawl space. This caused a threat of a building shutdown due to the lack of hot water. Dire consequences could result in disruption in food service, lost revenue & student wages. The team worked with EHS, adjusted eve. plans to stay late and come in on Saturday. Their efforts went above & beyond expectations, resulting in no downtime showing character & teamwork. ~Susan McGuire

Multi-craft worked on an irrigation water main break in the arboretum with new irrigation specialist Jason Mcharg and Grounds Worker Gerardo Perez. Highest complements to both Jason and Gerardo for the professional work performed in an efficient manner under difficult working conditions. Jason stepped into a demanding role as lead irrigation specialist in the temporary absence of Dominador Reclusado. Jason has taken ownership of his new position and has demonstrated himself to be a great asset. ~Susan McGuire
